· With experience as a Medicare Sales Representative, I have learned how to find the right plan for the individual.
· With employment as a Medicare insurance Customer Service Representative, I gained knowledge how to navigate the benefits, including finding less known benefits and how and when to file grievances and appeals.
· With a master’s degree in Social Work, I spent many years helping clients find resources helpful to them in managing co-pays and finding affordable resources.
· With a family member with Parkinson’s I had to learn means of negotiating plan limitations and affording co-pays for treatment needs, e.g. physical therapy, durable medical equipment and the hardest one, dealing with the prescription coverage gap (the dreaded doughnut hole).
· With a family member experiencing major chronic mental health issues I learned about Social Security Disability and a little known program that allows for Medicaid designation and benefits even if above the typical Medicaid cut off limits.
· With being “oldish” I have personally been enrolled in Medigap Supplements, PPO’s and HMO’s (Medicare Advantage plans).
MY PASSION IS TO HELP CLIENTS FIND PEACE OF MIND IN CHOOSING THE CORRECT HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THEIR NEEDS AND TO FIND AND UTILIZE ALL AVAILABLE BENEFITS TO ENHANCE FUTURE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.

Medicare agents receive payments from the carrier, so there is no cost to you for their services. If you speak to an agent or broker and they have a service fee, you may want to think twice.
Medicare open enrollment – also known as Medicare’s annual election period – runs from October 15 through December 7 each year. (Although Medicare’s open enrollment period ends on December 7 each year, extended enrollment opportunities are available to people in areas where FEMA declares an emergency or major disaster that hampers your ability to complete your signup during the normal window.) Time to sign up for Medicare?During this annual window, Medicare plan enrollees can reevaluate their coverage – whether it’s Original Medicare with supplemental drug coverage, or Medicare Advantage – and make changes or purchase new policies if they want to do so.
Lower-income Medicare beneficiaries may receive financial assistance through Medicare’s Extra Help program. If you have difficulty paying for prescriptions, the Extra Help program – also known as the Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) – can make prescriptions and plan premiums more affordable than they would be with Medicare Part D alone.
